Overview
The Heartbeat Claude connector gives Claude direct, secure access to your Heartbeat AI account. Once connected, Claude can search for verified healthcare provider contact information — including NPI, credentials, specializations, and business addresses, with optional emails, mobiles, landlines, and social profiles — all without leaving your conversation.
You authorize once, and Claude uses your account's permissions for every request going forward.
How authorization works
Heartbeat uses OAuth to connect to Claude. When you click Connect, you're redirected to log into your own Heartbeat account and approve access. Claude never sees or stores your Heartbeat password — it only receives a secure access token, which you can revoke at any time from Claude's Connector settings or your Heartbeat account settings.
Setup
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, or find "Heartbeat AI" in the connector directory
- Click Connect
- Log in with your Heartbeat AI account and approve access
- Claude can now use Heartbeat automatically whenever it's relevant to your request
Requirements: An active Heartbeat AI account.

Both tools are read-only — Heartbeat never modifies, deletes, or sends anything on your behalf.

Tips for better results
- Be specific with filters (specialty, credential, state, facility) — narrower searches return more relevant matches
- If you want only providers with a mobile number, email, or both, say so — results can be filtered by contact type
- Heartbeat returns verified provider data, but always confirm critical details before high-stakes outreach
